Pre-made quilt sleeve on a roll. Brilliant! Quilters Hangup is going to be the new “gotta have”. For quilters, shops, longarmers and show organizers, here’s an answer to that last minute issue of having to put a regulation sleeve on a quilt for a show. Read Teri’s story here…..we wish her luck on what is sure to be a very successful journey. Nicely done and nicely presented.
I really enjoyed chatting with the Mary Jane of The Quilt Branch. Their booth was very well put together and the the “eye candy” (fabric) was nicely chosen and uniquely packaged. Their patterns show lots of variety and versatility.
Mary of Mary’s Cottage Quilts has a great sense of color and design. Her booth was pretty and we enjoyed looking at all of her quilts.
Genii Lehmann of Lehmann Quilting had an awesome array of quilts and a friendly and outgoing personality. Her table runners, like “Jacob’s Jazz” an “Eclipse” are teriffic designs and her “Jigsaw” quilt is cute, cute, cute!
Be sure you are sitting down for this one – her designs are beautiful! Keri Duke of Keri Designs has quilt patterns, cross stitch and needlepoint as well as specialty ribbons and threads. Her lovely booth was one of those you just walk around in saying “ohhhh, ahhhh”. I didn’t get a close up, but the grapes on the quilt hanging in front looked good enough to eat!
Ohhhhh la la! That’s what you say when you see these stylish jackets – at least that’s what we said! Friendly, outgoing gals were eager to show us their jackets and don’t they look sleek? Wouldn’t they be perfect with a Lazy Girl Bag? MorninGlory Designs is hot!
These were, without a doubt, the nicest sweetest and most helpful people to me at Quilt Market in fall 2007. The lady (I didn’t write down her name!) attended a demo that I did and jumped in and helped where she saw a need. I want to go throw spaghetti sauce on a quilt just to use their spot remover!

Gudrun Erla enjoyed a productive show with her GE Designs. I just love the diamonds in her “Strip ‘N’ Dip”.
Florine Johnson is the creator of Rowdy and his pals “Those Radical Roosters” and I’ve loved them ever since she first introduced them years ago. She has steadily added to the collection and it’s a lively and popular group! There are now enough for the Block-of-the-Month and Florine offers this and a set of notecards and more on her website. It was a rare occurrence to catch her booth without a crowd around or in it.
The silks were the first thing that stopped us at Della Quimby’s booth and the Vietnamese Sewing Project was the second. della Q introduces fabrics and more at Spring Quilt Market.
