Rotary Cutter Blade Sharpener

Penny Haren is someone I trust, so when she posts that this rotary blade sharpener really works, I believe her. I can’t wait to get one myself. Here’s her story, about this sharpener from USA Sharpener, she tells it best….

Quilt Design Northwest

Book, patterns and awesome “continuous line Applique” all on one site! How cool is that! Marjorie Rhine is the prolific designer for Quilt Design Northwest. I had a really hard time picking one pattern from her site to post here – I wanted them all :)

Here is Knittin’ Mittens, but check out her others, especially the Christmas ones near the bottom of the page. It’s never to early to start a Christmas Quilt.

Love Quilt Patterns

Both the New Patterns section and the Pattern Library will make your fingers itch to make one of Kathleen Ann Love’s quilts. Her quilt photos are very nicely done and her website shows them off well. Check out Love Quilt Patterns for some nice looking quilts. Here’s Daisy Doodle from her New Patterns.

Prettiest Paper Piecing

I am a huge fan of impressionist art so when I found The Designers Workshop and looked at a few of Eileen Sullivan’s paper piecing patterns, I thought “Oh, how pretty.” Then I saw this one and went “Wow!”.

Then I noticed that she has five pages of designs, and they are all very beautiful. Treat yourself to some eye candy and inspiration at The Designers Workshop.

Lockwood Quilts

I’ve never seen bargello quilts like the ones at Lockwood Quilts! With categories like Pieced Quilts, Strip Pieced Quilts, New Quilts and so much more, on a nicely designed website, you’ll want to spend some time looking around. Here’s Pansy Promenade from the Applique Quilts page.

Open Gate Quilts

I had a really nice time looking at the Newest Patterns, Patterns, More Patterns and Books at the Open Gate Quilt website. Here’s their Singing the Blues quilt pattern……I just love the Old English Sheepdog in the pic!

Bargello and More……

Ann Lainhart’s quilts are quite lovely, particularly her bargello quilts, like the one on the left, called Stacked Tops and the one below called Midnight Cityscape. Check out her website – called The Quilted Gallery - for interesting patterns in quilts and wearables.

Twinkle and More…

I found the website of Cheryl Wittmayer and her newest patterns really caught my eye! Sew-Be-It is the name of her pattern company and her new patterns are worth a look.

In fact, I was so impressed with her pretty patterns that I clicked the link to what she calls her “Old Favorites” – very much worth looking at!
