Gail at Andover Fabrics knows how to tease. She sent me this introduction to Andover’s new line by Renee Nanneman and I totally love it. While you are looking around at Andover, check out Elizabeth House’s line called Lizzy Dish. Lizzy and Cheri House are a couple of my favorite designers. You can keep up with them here.

As reported on Scrapbook Update
“CK Media, parent company of Creating Keepsakes and PaperCrafts magazines, can no longer deny (after months of rumors) that it is in financial trouble after word has come out publicly that the company has hired turnaround and bankruptcy consultants CRG Partners to assist it.”
In an update to her post, Nancy links to designers (who blog) who remain unpaid for their submissions to CK Media, such as Lisa Dickinson and forums such as Studio Calico.
The magazines published by CK Media, spanning the scrapbooking, quilting and sewing spectrum, can be seen here.

A quilt and a story by Rochelle Martin of Cottage Quilt Designs! This pieced and appliquéd quilt has scrappy blocks to use up your stash and 6 applique blocks of orchids. The pattern includes instructions to make it in throw, queen or king sizes. With the set of six patterns comes the 24 page book, Orchid Remembrance, written by Laura Day, Rochelle’s daughter. Laura has been published many times in Cotton Spice Magazine with her quilt mystery series about Isabelle and Tara.
