Two great new patterns from Thistledown & Co.

bffcoverc86“BFF- Dresses & ‘do’s” pattern uses a technique that has removable appliqués, Linda calls it “swap-lique”. The girls (BFF’s) are permanent appliqués but their dresses hairdo’s, socks and their pets are able to be changed at any time. It’s a fun and easy technique. Use thirties fabrics like the model or have fun with your own fabric choices. So perfect for any little girl’s bedroom. Pattern has easy instructions and full size templates with traceable faces. Quilt measures 26” x 41” retail $10.00 pattern #738 Thistledown & Co. designed by Linda Zokan.

Watch for companion patterns in the works for additional seasonal and holiday outfits, hats, costumes, pets, etc.

blondiescover-c86-copy-copy“Blondies” is a fast and easy quilt pattern featuring instructions for “Fearless Blonde Quilting” machine quilting that will not intimidate the beginning machine quilter wanna be. This pattern also has detailed binding instructions plus easy rotary cutting and 2 quilt sizes. Lots of fun to make – especially for blondes! Use batiks as in the model or have fun with just about any fabric. Easy pick fabric choices are listed by value, light, dark, etc. Lap size 56” x 70” and crib size 36” x 42” pattern#770 Thistledown & Co. designed by Linda Zokan. She’s also got a great blog!

I love Linda’s work. I’ve seen BFF in person and it is absolutely darling. All mothers and grandmas of little girls should check this out. Your little darlings will love it!! And you’ll have fun making it.
