Mistyfuse

I watched a demo and was able to handle this new product, Mistyfuse. It’s almost as light as air, with no stickiness. The demo showed how to save 3 steps in transferring designs to the fusible by using a no.2 lead pencil and parchment (baking parchment on a roll). When we were all done ooohing and aahhhing, she showed us how to dye the fusible and use it as an overlay for art quilting. I can’t wait to get started!

Renaissance Ribbons

I’ve never seen such beautiful and creative ribbonry. I’ll start you off at their exclusive designs page….

Quilters Hangup

Pre-made quilt sleeve on a roll. Brilliant! Quilters Hangup is going to be the new “gotta have”. For quilters, shops, longarmers and show organizers, here’s an answer to that last minute issue of having to put a regulation sleeve on a quilt for a show. Read Teri’s story here…..we wish her luck on what is sure to be a very successful journey. Nicely done and nicely presented.

Keri

Be sure you are sitting down for this one – her designs are beautiful! Keri Duke of Keri Designs has quilt patterns, cross stitch and needlepoint as well as specialty ribbons and threads. Her lovely booth was one of those you just walk around in saying “ohhhh, ahhhh”. I didn’t get a close up, but the grapes on the quilt hanging in front looked good enough to eat!

Grandma’s Secret Spot Remover

These were, without a doubt, the nicest sweetest and most helpful people to me at Quilt Market in fall 2007. The lady (I didn’t write down her name!) attended a demo that I did and jumped in and helped where she saw a need. I want to go throw spaghetti sauce on a quilt just to use their spot remover!

Curve Master Presser Foot

If you’ve always wanted to sew curved seams and been afraid to you just have to check out the Curve Master Presser Foot. Invented by a quilter, just for quilters this foot is simply amazing. I’ve watched the demo and after seeing it in use I honestly believe that I can take on some of the quilt designs with those lovely circles and curves. Read a few other reviews of the foot here….

Handy Tabs

That creative Lazy Girl, Joan Hawley, has made making all purses one step easier with Handy Tabs. She’s pre-cut, pressed and folded the perfect sized tab for attaching purse handles – and in several coordinating colors! Take a peek here for her full introduction to this time saving tab and Joans new sew-in-labels.
